I like using these instead of static meshes because I'm oldskool. But I know BSP and modular meshes both have upsides and downsides. At some point BSP need to be replaced with modular and some hero meshes (I don't like 100% modular, some room shapes are impossible to do with them, also you get more Actors on a map)

Bsp work makes me remember Qbsp.

But with better additive/subtract system. Quake has only additive. You need far less brushes to do same thing. Though Quake has no BSP holes unlike Unreal (but I feel it's because Unreal doesn't snap vertex to integer grid, not because of add/subtract system)

@@izvarzone Binary Space Partition was original concept, that works with basic shapes. Now a days, PCs are so powerful, you have ue5 do real human faces with gestures real time, and shaders creating added visual aura for everyone's enjoyment lol 👍
