@ Boss Lady83 I grew up in NYC in the 90's and early 2000's. A lot of older guy's were dating teenage girls. It was not right but somehow it was normalized. It was something we saw and thought nothing of it unless the age gap was really huge. Parents cannot be to blame to some extent because our parents were always working and even if they were home, most of us in NYC took public transportation. Traveling to and from school taking one to two buses far from home was a breeding ground for guys to make their move. A lot of men cannot tell me that they did not know at least one guy who was doing that? From what I remember dudes would have friends around when conversing with a young girl or be picking up his young girlfriend. Teenage girls in those times were very mature and actively wanted to be with older guys. It was by no means okay, but that's how it was unfortunately.
