I cried during this, I can't lie. I was the sweetest little kid until my life changed at 9. My dad OD'd on crack. We had a nice house. I had to move to the projects with my aunt and her husband then he sexually abused me. My aunt cursed me out when I told her and told the family was "fast" AND THEY BELIEVED HER! I was never the same after that. My heart turned cold. I went numb. I was violated, humiliated, and abandoned by my family. I was sent to a foster home and none of my family ever kept in touch with me. I'm 40 now and all alone and miserable. The internet keeps me company these days. Sometimes I wonder if it had never happened, if my parents were still here, would my life have been better...I wanted to be a doctor but these days I just really miss my dad.
