Mathieu, ton grand père, venait du 'petit' peuple, intelligent mais simple. A tjs respecté les spectateurs. Une immense carrière, bcp de français l'adoraient. Tu lui rends hommage, avec sincérité. Tu étais une de ses pépites. Bcp de champions auraient rêvé d'un petit fils comme toi. Simple, disponible et tellement performant. Raymond vous a transmis des valeurs....merci à vous de les honorer.

He won't but that's okay. He's not trying to and he's world class at the things he is trying to do. If he ever wants to go for GC in a grand tour, he'd have to lose 10kg, completely change his approach to training and racing. I don't see him doing that tbh, it would take all the fun out of it for him. Maybe in a couple of years if he's yearning for a new challenge he'll give GC a go

@@DavidvdGulik spot on. He's pursuing the portions of bike racing which he finds fun. A lot of people want him to transform into a GC rider. I commend him for sticking with what he finds enjoyable. That's what life (for everyone) should be about.
