I saw the race and what amazed me in a completely incredible fashion is how fast Tadej was…he took off w/50k to go and beat by a wide margin the best in the world. Is this a dog in a hat or is his fitness a level no one has ever really achieved?

Merckx and indurain 80 kg and indurain wiggins froome all over 6 ft. Climbings not all about size and weight if you have an insane engine that can power a big frame.

Great questions of the outgoing world road champ & his interesting answers, & his never say die attitude too. MVDP proved to be a very worthy champ, still with hopes of a 2nd rainbow jersey. He also set a high bar for Tadej, so just how much more motivated & inspired will Tadej be in 2025, he loves a challenge, besting himself is one thing, besting 'everyone else', again, is another? Is Tadej 'merely' now hoping to wear the rainbows for 4 yrs straight to set yet another new record? 🤔I hope so. Watching someone demolish the rest of the world's best over 20, 50 or 100kms 'solo' will hopefully never get boring for those who truly love our fabulous sport.
