*Multiplication 5* ● when using the trachtenberg method, we start from the last digit, working our way towards the first. So from right to left ● the digit underneath will be half the number to the right ➡️ EG : 026 × 5 130 1) underneath 6 there is 0 since there are no numbers after 6. 2) underneath 2 there is 3 since half of 6 = 3 - it is important to note that in front of every number, there is an zero, and underneath the zero will be half of the first digit. - In this case there is 1 underneath 0 since half of 2 = 1 ● if the original (top) number is odd, then add 5 to the value you get after halving the number to the right 《Example》 036 × 5 180 1) here, the number under under 3 is 8. This is because half of 6 is 3, and since the original (top) number is odd, we add 5 to the half, so 3+5=8. ● it is important to remember that the half of odd numbers will not end in .5, instead we will ignore it and just use the first digit. In this case, underneath 0 is 1, since half of 3 is actually 1.5 and we have ignored the .5 *Multiplication 6* ● underneath each number, will be the original (top) value + add half of the number to its right 《Example》 026 × 6 156 - underneath the 6, there will be a 6 and nothing else since there is no other value next to the top 6 - underneath 2, there is a 5 since we halfed 6 which = 3 and added it to the original top number which is 3+2=5 - underneath 0 there is a 1 since half of 2 = 1 and 1+0=1 ● if the top digit is an odd number, then we'll do the same exact thing, however we will add an additional 5 to it. 《Example》 036 × 6 2•16 1) underneath 6 there is a 6 since there is no neighbouring digit 2) underneath 3 there is •1, this is because half of 6 is 3 so 3+3=6 then we add the additional 5 which is 6+5=11 since 11 is a two digit number, we will use the unit number and next to it we'll put a dot to represent the extra tens. 3) underneath 0 there is a 2 since half of 3 is 1 and we added the extra ten from the last digit, so 1+1=2 *Multiplication 7* ● underneath the top number, we will double the top value, then add half of the neighbouring number 《Example》 026 × 7 18•2 - underneath 6 there is a •2 which basically represents 12. This is because we double 6 which = 12 and added 0 since there is nothing next to it. - underneath 2 there is an 8, since 2×2=4 and half of 6 = 3 so 4+3=7. Then we added the extra 10 on which is 7+1=8 - underneath 0 is 1 since 0×2=0 and half of 2=1 ● just like before, if the top digit is an odd number, we will do the same thing but add an additional 5 《Example》 036 × 7 2•5•2 1) underneath 6 there is •2 since 2×6=12 2) underneath 3 there is •5, since 3×2=6 add half of 6 which is 3, so 6+3=9 Then we add the additional 5 which is 9+5=14 and then add the extra ten 14+1=15 3) underneath 0 there is a 2, since half of 3 is 1 add the extra 10 1+1=2 *Multiplication 11* ● underneath the digit, add the neighbouring number to the top value 《Example》 026 × 11 286 1) underneath 6 is 6, since there's nothing next to 6 2) underneath 2 is 8 since 6 is the neighbouring digit so 2+6=8 3) underneath 0 is 2 since 2 is the neighbouring digit

@user-rz9iv1hx8t
@user-rz9iv1hx8t 9 күн бұрын
@kumarsiva5701 598 × 5 = 2990 0598 × 5 2990 ● the number underneath 8 is 0 since it is the last digit of the number ● the number underneath 9 is 9 because half of 8 is 4, and since 9 is an odd number, we must add 5 to 4 = 9 ● the number underneath 5 is 9 since half of 9 is 4.5 However, we must ignore the .5 And since 5 is an odd number, we must add 5 to 4 = 9 ● lastly the number underneath 0 is 2 since half of 5 is 2.5 and we will ignore the .5

Great question! in a previous video in one eg multiply 54x56 very fast but with a condition that starting numbers are same and ending digits add to 10. but for this method there are no conditions like that. if you remember a key for specific number then you can multiply any number with that. its like a table for that number.
