Hey it’s because the equation for the circumference of a circle is pi x the diameter so you need to times the radius twice to get the diameter. That’s where the 2 comes from ❤

dont know where you got 2r=8h from but that simplifies to r=4h isnt 4r = h, however If you're talking about the final answer of making 4r=h -> 1:4 you can think of it like this, when r = 1 , h = 0.25 but as we want them to be equal we have to make it r (1) = 4h (0.25*4=1) so r:h = 1:4
