for q24 how did u know that the centre was of the circle was the origin?

The question states that the equation of the circle given is x^2+y^2=12.25. The general form for an equation of a circle is x^2+y^2=r^2. The points which were given were 2.1,2.8. Radius can then be found using Pythagoras. 2.1^2+2.8^2=r^2 works out to r=3.5, which is the same as root 12.25 (the result of making r the subject of the equation of a circle which was given). These two values are the same, therefore meaning that points 2.1,2.8 must originate from 0,0.

it's highly likely, basically if you're not given the centre then you just assume its 0
