I think geometric sequence is called so because of its pattern in relation to geometrical figures like similar triangles where the ratio their sides remains the same irrespective of their sizes. Notes taking (making) and keeping is very important in studies. Sometimes it is as good as keeping books in our shelves. It help us to organise our lessons at a single place and serves a source for quick reference. .

So in the example 20, 17, 14, 11 the 100th term would be found using the nth term -3n + 23 , thus 100th term= -277 🙂
