It’s fine to prefer “natural” makeup products, but I have to disagree on them requiring more skill. Whether or not you prefer them, often the high glam/avante garde/drag makeup looks require more precision, steps, and technical skill. This isn’t to say that people who do natural makeup aren’t talented, but there’s no reason to put down a certain style of makeup you don’t personally prefer.

Most celebrity looks just aren’t my cup of tea. I think I just have a different aesthetic. However, I’ve ALWAYS adored her makeup. I think what draws me to it is that it’s evolved and is occasionally experimental without sacrificing her personal taste/style. Thanks for the well-researched videos!

I'm also sensitive to coconut oil, and these are some "clean" products which are coconut oil and cocoa butter free and have never broken me out. Cheeks - Ere Perez carrot pots. If you are keen to try that "poppy red cream blush in a pot" trend that seems to be so big with a lot of celebs, the shade Hello is perfect Highlight - nude by nature soft focus highlight. Very gold FYI, and also works well mixed in with or under foundation :)

I absolutely love Emma... Not just for her acting chops but the way she conducts herself and never shies of expressing her opinions and feelings about things that really matter.... From equal pay to sexual or otherwise harrassment at work place which fo most of us working women is a way of life.... Being a doctor I have faced discrimination myself being mistaken for a nurse being the most common... It would be hilarious if it wasn't so irritating!!! Now for the video!!!! I definately blame you for my RMS obsession. Have you tried Kosås tinted skin oil? It seems something that would be up your aisle. It's barely "foundation" and really let's your skin take centre stage. Also clean! I use literally four drops for my whole face.

You should try too cool for school! They’re a more high end Korean-American brand that have smaller ranges within . Dinoplatz is the most popular range, sold at Bloomingdales, Sephora, Nordstrom, etc. Their jelly lip balm and cushy blusher as well as their tube eyeshadows are amazing, very minimal makeup with a great variety also love the bronzers from their Rodin range!

love this! just a question. how do you blend cream blushes without ruining your base? Because I tend to ruin my foundation underneath and the blush just stays on my fingers not really blending well in my cheek. Any advice or tips on how you apply please? xx

Thank you! I don't wear foundation (nor tinted moisturiser for the last 8 months or so) so I'm luckily not having to deal with layers. When I am, I wear such a sheer layer of skin tint so it doesn't move, but I'd always just quickly stroke the blush on with fingers. I think working it in too much is when you might disturb what's already underneath 👍 Hope that makes sense! x

Oils, unless they has specific active ingredients, aren’t really generally a good treatment for chicken skin, especially if they’re comedogenic. Try focusing on exfoliating and treatments that address hyperpigmentation- like an acid toner. The ordinary has a good selection. Then moisturize with a rich but gentle product like cerave moisturizing cream.

I also love the Kjaer Weis lip tints, but the packing not so much. They always open up if I have them loose in my bag and when I open them they I almost always get the product all over my fingers 😂😂 I really love their brand philosophy though, lover’s choice is my fav shade. Great to post a celeb that is conscious about beauty and cruelty free brands!

I love your videos so much, Matilda 😍 You have inspired my makeup aesthetic, I have to blame you too because I just recently purchase the 2 blushes featured in the Zoe Kravitz makeup bag, and the Chanel Lip Blush (love the 3 of them, btw) I was rewatching some of your older videos and saw that you mention in different hauls the Giorgio Armani Neo A Contour and the Dior color Tattoo, I haven’t seen reviews of people that I trust about those 2 products (summer 2019 Dior collection will bring color tattoo in terracotas and oranges) and I have been thinking about getting them, but would like to hear your opinion, since they’re both expensive products. Keep going with your videos, they’re amazing, and always bring me joy 😊🥰

Thank you Joanny, so glad you've found some products you enjoy here! 😄 I love the Giorgio Armani A-Contour, it's incredibly subtle and sheer and very easy to blend (but won't be enough for people who like a strong contour). To me, it creates exactly the right natural-looking tone where you'd naturally have a shadow in the hollows of your cheek. The Dior Lip Tattoos unfortunately didn't work well for me, they were very patchy so I don't reach for them anymore. But they'll be appearing in another video in future and I'll be asking for viewer tips! x
