I love gambits, I usually sacrifice my queen all the time. I usually lose though.

Is there any free software or an online chess site that will allow me to setup this position and let me play a compute? Or if there is no free online chess sites that allow this setup a position and then play a computer, which online chess sites will give me this option of setting up and practice playing these moves, if I paid to become a premium member of that online chess site. It seems to me that this would be a good way to really learn to play these types of moves.

I believe you can use lichess to set up a position then play against different levels of stockfish

I don't play f5 in the Owen/English Defense. It is just weakening with little compensation. I play ...e6 and ...Nf6

At 5:19 you say "that the only way to stop the checkmate is Qe8. Any other option is a pretty quick forced mate" but I can't see why Bd5 lead to forced mate. This move stops Qf7 I think or have I missed something. Thanks
@IVIasterIVIind3 жыл бұрын
You stop the direct mate, but after pawn takes bishop, white has a massive attack. According to the engine its mate in 8 moves.
