Matlacha FL Meat Market Hobie Saltwater Kayak Fishing [Slam] Snook Redfish Trout All Artificial

Hit the launch little bit before sunrise with my friend Liani l from Matlacha community park looking for redfish, snook and trout. She was looking for trout to bring home for dinner ( limit of 3) we ended up finding trout fast then she caught a 24-in redfish that she harvested. And then shortly later I found a 26-in redfish in open water which I harvested to bring home to my neighbor.
Later we found some fiddler crabs and I caught a mangrove snapper along with a mullet. Yes a mullet. We ended up backtracking to a spot and finding the snook that we needed to close out our slams.

Great video! I found the Laguna shrimp color in the jerk shrimpz I use is a great color lately. It’s becoming my me of my favorites it’s like a pink with some glitter. Big trout love it!

I found a mess of trout south of you on Saturday. All that fog created a top water bite that lasted for hours. Also picked up my first red since moving to Cape Coral while poling on Sunday. As you said weather was great. Think I’m going to try the west side this coming weekend if the wind stays down.
