I’m not so experienced with feeder fishing but must the feeder be tight on the line with the stopper on the bottom or lose? Thnx!

Question for matrix: why don't tackle companies like yourself bring out maggot/blockends feeders that are inline that weigh up to say 8oz. They would make a killing on the trent with barbel anglers at this time of year.
