As long children loves it, and animals seems to like it too and the growth of plants is benefited by the music we can really speak about GOOD MUSIC. This three most innocent audience groups are the ultimate jury testcase. Their emotional response is for me, as a musician, the only thing that really matters.

My two month old loves this. She calms right down and her eyes widen. My five year old listened to this on repeat while colouring in unicorns. As a parent I think an album of this would be a very good idea.

Nice job! I first heard 'Intonent Hodie' from the album 'Legends of St. Nicholas' by Anonymous4. The whole album is thrilling, peaceful, and sometimes evoking great sorrow. I never knew that plainchant had that kind of power.

Hi Kris, this is fantastic, the MB-sound is perfect. Do you think about a new take of exactly this version, but with real choir?

Hi Kris! When are you going to release a CD? I would like to buy it! I love your work! Sincerely, Pityuntu

I wonder what it would sound like if slowed down, or perhaps with the vocals as a canon. Or would that just sound too messy perhaps?

I love this! Did you find the vocal sheet somewhere or did you transcribed it by ear?

Seeing you harmonize these chants makes me wonder: did you ever listen to Maurice Durufle ? I once had the chance to sing his requiem as part of a choir and it was a life altering experience for me. To hear the gregorian themes harmonized in all kinds of exciting ways just made it so much powerful.
@krislennoxmusic6 жыл бұрын
Yes, in my days as a composition student a few months were spent studying the harmonic systems of Durufle and Jehan Alain. A few others also, but the two mentioned were, for me, harmonically the most interesting. PS singing the Requiem would have been a great experience, I imagine! Best Kris
