It's from a Swedish TV show called Trum that aired about 10 years or so ago. If you search for "Morgan Ågren Trum" you should find full episodes here on KZbin. It's mostly talking, drum lessons and record tips so not sure how useful that is if you don't speak Swedish, but every episode has one or more live performances.
@progperljungman8218 Жыл бұрын
Actually, the majority of the short episodes was always the live performances and some of the talking was Morgan showing vinyls from his favorite inspirations. All this though being an educational show at public service TV. But Morgan was free to fill it with whatever he liked to 😊

Mats and Morgan play the music the teacher tells you not to, the silly noises that put a big fucking grin on your face and I love it. It's not popular stuff, it's not following a standard musical formula... they're just having a blast, I suspect they'd be at home doing it even if nobody else cared to listen.

@JensClaesson By that logic I could ask you why anyone would count in quarter notes instead of 2nd notes: Because it's not the same thing. If 8/8 is the same as 4/4, then it's also the same thing as 2/2 and even 1/1, but you don't count or play it like that. How would you play something in a crazy time signature like 15/16 or 29/32 if you're only counting quarter notes?
