Amazing? Higher ranking officers are the very people you entrust with not only saving the USA in a shooting or a non-shooting war, but also to bring as many of their subordinates and comrades back home, alive, healthy in body and in mind as is humanly possible and compatible with fulfilling the mission: keeping the USA safe. If you know how your enemy thinks, what their ideology and thought patterns are, what motivates them and what not, what they fear and what not … you will have a much better chance to predict what the enemy may do and what not. That this knowledge is critical to lay an ambush where the enemy will come and stays hidden from their scouting and guarding should be obvious - and vice versa it needs that knowledge to avoid ambushed and traps. If for example you knew a certain enemy would rarely if ever fight at night you can plan your strategy around that. So your men hide in their tents from a violent thunderstorm at night. Because they do not attack at night. As you lie dying, as are your men, you mumble “… but it was night …”, so how could they launch a mass attack, overrunning the camp and killing most before they ever got out of their tents? “Night, yes, dark, no” says one of the enemy, apparently some are watching you die, “just like this.” He puts his thumbs on your eyes and applies some pressure. “I press more and day dark like night. True?” Removing his thumbs, he says, “No matter. You not see day. Too much blood.” It is all you can think of while your head starts spinning and conscious slips away … you could have known, you should have known, but “knowing” became “being” at home. Trying to keep your reputation with them totally tanked your reputation with everyone. And killed a lot of people in the process.

General Milley may not look like your typical intellectual scholar, but he definitely knew how to express some basic facts related to this latest ridiculous and dangerous 'cultural war' issue, that's become the Reptilians' new pet topic to keep control over their flock of sheep in the MAGA cult. It's was like a 30 minute long and and involved a teacher that was teaching about social subjects, a parent complained, and she was being reviewed by the school board and administration.

@Howard Bueker Howard you need to reexamine how that princple applies in practice. As you are applying it in a vaccume. For one innocent until proven guilty only applies to the court system. It is not a prescription for the court of public opinion or public analysis. The Public has a right & duty to form their opinions based on the evidence & information that is available. Innocence until proven guilty under the court of law is meant to ensure a fair trial for the accused. That's it. As well Gaetz is not just a private Citizen. He is a Public official representing his Florida citizen constituents & as a representative of the dialogue for United States Federal Government discourse both. People have every right, based on what we know about the federal investigation, as this is much more than simple he said she said accusations- to say that they don't think Gaetz should be allowed to Represent that national discourse until the investigation is over. It is after the court or investigation is finished- that Gaetz's guilt or innocence may be determined. If someone is under a federal investigation for, lets say *fraud* as an example, as a buisness you wouldn't allow that person to keep working as an accountant until after the investigation. likely you would suspended them or if the evidence available to the public is strong enough, you would fire them. It both looks bad as representation of your company and its unwise for the saftey and security of others & your organization. The same goes for public officials when they are under investigation, except this time your boss is the Public. And it's just bad policy on Gaetz part. With this investigation he hurts his own cause more than he aides it by acting as a representative. As the investigation is going to be associated with the content of his speech until it is over.
