In an interview during their Messengers tour, Matt said he likes this song because he can relax and have fun with White Washed. Bruh, I struggle to even learn it! Guess Matt's on a while new level

Honestly the intro tom part is what gave me the most trouble. A lot of what Greiner does is playing the same fill but in different places. Try to practice playing 8th notes of r l k k around the kit and once you feel comfortable with that practice 16th notes of r l r l k k. Maybe play triplets too if you get really comfortable with that.

What does a drummer hear through his ear pieces when playing shows like this? The guitars, whole band?

SERIAL TUNA STABBER depends. Usually the show is set up to a “metronome/click” so it will have that in there. Anything that the band may have sample wish may be on there. Could have stuff like cues to start songs. Usually has a mix of the vocals and guitars and whatnot.

I may or may not be alone on this one, but it gives me crazy anxiety to see guys have their boom arms flat like with his crashes. I can only imagine what kind of hell his crashes are going through smacking against the arm like that. I know he's endorsed and all, but still having cymbals crack sucks, especially expensive (and beautiful) zildjian cymbals.
