I love that Matt really knows about metal. I love Death and melodic death metal, they teached me the same things Matt has said. I wish Trivium could get into more melodic death and black metal style, the Heafy way!

children of bodom is literally the only band i know that does melodic death metal. Ember to inferno was considered melodic death metal but Triviums other albums have become a lot more progressive and mixed with metalcore and thrash.

Matt your just cool af!!! I must say also though, I've never been one to "label" any kind of music---my most un-favorite expression of all is "Nu metal" dont like it, but thats just me---besides music isnt something that can be explained, its felt---shit its even more than that, for me I need music like we need air to breath--so I guess I did just put it into words. 🤟🤟🖤🖤🤘🤘
