Somebody get a mic and studio for this guy! This is great! He deserves professional production and a bassist/drummer to rock out with him!

Hes right where he needs to be. A lot of people dont know about this musical treasure and that's one of the many many things that makes this guy special

After seeing him live I can personally tell you that his man doesn’t need anything other than his instrument.

I really like these guys that "belt out" their songs. There's a "screaming" Freedom there!!

Don’t know if you’ve kept up with him but he’s got more than a few albums under his belt now. No back up though, and he sure as shit don’t need it haha

@@michaelbaker4230 His album "After The Flood" actually has backup. And the "backup" is mostly him, lol. He has a band called Deep Chatham with other musicians.

@Will W He opened for the opener. People were awe struck. We've had him back a couple of times to headline. Matt is important and his music is medicine.

@@jrketelsen4470 Thanks for the comment. I absolutely agree… his music is medicine. As an Afghan war vet, this song is invaluable. It captures rarely discussed torment, and gives voice to thousands who remain silent. I know the song is referencing Antietam, but ultimately…this is the timeless story of the Infantryman. I’ve never heard a better song depicting the agony of war. I hope to meet Matt someday, and thank him for caring enough to tell our story.
