For the love of Holy, Vincent Valentine is not a vampire. He is one of the few people tampered with by Hojo who isn't infected with Jenova. He's a shapeshifter representing various human fears: beast, mad science, psychological, and supernatural horror. He was in a coffin to represent the fear of death. (Plus, normal people don't want to dick with coffins.)

Can we finally be done with the "Vincent is a vampire" thing? Where did that even start? He can (could, even in DoC only galian beast and chaos remained) turn into several monsters, but vampire was never one of them. Anyway, I have high hopes for MM as Vincent, seems like a great choice. Only hope he makes it very distinct from Minsc, or it'll be very weird to me.
