I love the way you turn to camera B with the line "That would have been madness" then look back to camera A, with perfect editing. Brilliant! Love the sound of your instruments. Hopefully some day I'll be able to one or two (or 5 or 10). :-)

The sound is just bonechilling. It has some sort of divine vibe to it, like it's the left hand of god. Awesome piece man!!

That is the coolest instrument I have ever seen!! You can record an entire soundtrack for a horror movie, or for a fight scene! Just with one instrument

thank you Matt ;-) i used to make cast bronze bowls but they never sounded that good but they were 85-5-5-5 and silicon never tried pure copper tin alloy.

Beautiful sculpture and beautiful sound. How did you feel the form affects the sound ?
@MattNolanCustom4 жыл бұрын
The outline shape, the shape profile in the third dimension and the localised tension profile across the surface all affect the sound. It is part of my art to balance these to produce a pleasing sounding and looking result

This one sounds as if someone took this exact instrument - and I mean exactly this one - to make the clangy, gongy and scareful sounds of the Diablo II soundtrack (which in my opinion is still unreached in terms of atmosphere and darkness). AMazing.
@MattNolanCustom8 жыл бұрын
Well, it wasn't this one unless they sampled it from my videos. But I have made others and I don't know where they all are any more...
@danielschroder66788 жыл бұрын
MattNolanCustom Sure, this one was manufactured too late in time for the creation for that particular soundtrack, but I can easily see how one of your instruments could have ended up in their studios. Great work!
