Best thing to do with a fresh built engine is take it on a long, nice twisty road where you could load up the torque & power everywhere in the power range. An old bloke told me that years ago, and have done the same on every car from my old KE70, 383 XD through to my 07 BF2 XR8 with GT500 engine swap- new engines love to have load on them
