We're curious about the table base too, but having lived on a boat for so long, we typically do a good job of not stubbing toes. If it becomes an issue, I've already made a filler piece that can cover the corner. It just looks too odd to leave up now. Matt

Really nice, super job. I have refinished / rehabbed a lot of wood projects and yours looks top notch! I an appreciate how much elbow grease it takes and endless patients not to say "well, this is good enough" when its not. Like most everyone else has stated, I think your boat looks beautiful. I admire you both in doing this instead of straight purchasing a newer/bigger S.V. As time moves forward y'all will always have these memories of building this home together and I feel that they will get you through anything that comes. It is evident to me that you two share a deep and loving connection that has been made stronger during this build. That is the best woodworking job I've ever seen on a boat being refurbished. All of that looks brand new (I know it is new)and beautiful!! You want spring loaded latches for your bed, I can't tell if the one is or not. I said latches, plural. Plus metal sleeves where the latches engage the woodwork. That barrel bolt will work its way out, because bouncing will disengage the bolt and the bed will flop down under sail. Yup two thumbs up for best woodworking EVAAAAR!

Wow, it actually looks pretty good considering it is not complete. The woodwork looks wonderful. There seem to be several different areas and one convertible. Love the way the sleeping area converts so easily into what seems to be a very accommodative sitting area. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Maybe it's because of the white walls and the layout but it looks more like a home than a boat interior to me. Which is not bad, it has a nice cozy feeling to it. The interior looks really nice. On the table post holder you could make a triangular piece of plywood which drops in when the table is not installed. It could be upholstered to protect shins.

That was one of the first things that I thought of too. I was going to ask them if I could have a dollar for every time one of them cracks a shin on that bracket. I could be a hundredaire in a couple of years. --- hahaha

Boxing in the table support is definitely required as it could be a serious hazard in a big seaway when your climb around.

Nice job you guys. Looks very nice. Just a heads up, we own a big shop here and fix many aluminum and glass boats. For the scratches on the hull, there is a filler called formula 27 made by Evercoat. Its a filler that holds up to water when primed and painted. Cheep and sands easy. Will fix dents etc. in aluminum boats. Take care you 2
