as you now are familiar with Mikael Stanne and Markus Vanhala (gtr in Omnium Gatherum and Insomnium), check out their just formed band "Cemetery Skyline", Stanne is doing clean vox, and the music in goth metal. They only have released one song so far "Violent Storm".

Thank you for the suggestion. I actually did a reaction to that the day it came out, but it was completely blocked from being seen. It’s sad, most of what I do is copyright protected so I can’t monetize (which is fine, I signed up knowing that), but they can at least get viewed. This stinks because they completely blocked it from being viewed. For what it’s worth I really enjoyed the song. Thank you for the suggestion and support

@@MattsMoshPit1oh, that’s a bummer. I think they would release it if you asked. There are few reactions on it. And i think the guys are embracing reactions quite nicely. Oh, and i do recommend more Insomnium o/c. 🤘🏼

I will reach out to the label and see what options there are. Also I will definitely be checking out more from Insomnium. Please keep the suggestions coming 🤘

That was awesome! I loved that piano line that was just going in the background, maybe it softens the song, but imho it fits so well and gives a nice contrast to Mikael's growls. Went straight to my playlist!

Same here. Very classic dt with the melody really adding an extra layer.

Btw if you have watched all their previous music videos theres actually a lot of call backs to other music videos

I love their overall sound. I was just saying in another comment that when it comes to DT, I don’t have specific fav songs, because I tend to listen to their discography on shuffle. I just love their over all sound including Mikael’s vocals. I will definitely check out this song quite a few more times.

Vizualisers - i basically just see it as something to look at haha. Never thought about it as a music video. Niklas vizualiserz are often quite nice though beung a cerativ mastermind

I see your point. I guess they just aren’t that good for reactions. Thank you for sharing

This is my favorite band of all time. So i glaze extra hard. But to me their songs stand alone only OK. Their real majesty is as an album. They always feel like an adventure. Musically. And since day 1...and idk how theyve always done it...their album closers are always perfect. Like the perfect punctuation mark to end the journey
@MattsMoshPit19 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing. I need to go back and check out the closers. Thank you for watching

@@MattsMoshPit1 again not as stand alones necessarliy. But if you listen to their last album moment once you get to In Truth Divided, it just feels like the perfect way that 50 minute journey should come to an end.

Agreed, I will check out the whole album from start to finish. Thank you again!

@@MattsMoshPit1 awesome man. Yeah its why when reviewers every new album for a while its always the same complaint. "Eh no songs really stand out." And though its not wrong its just that the way their albums flow i feel like that conclusion kinda misses the point. Thanks for coming to my clearly on the spectrum TED talk

lol! This Ted Talk is better than a lot of them.

Liked it but didn’t love it. It’s often like that for me with DT songs. DT was the top band on my Spotify Wrapped last year but there where no DT songs on the top songs list. I usually don’t pick a specific song when I listen to DT, I tend to listen to a full album or just random songs on Spotify and this song will fit in perfectly with the rest. I’m not a huge fan of visualizers and lyrics videos. I like that this one was created by a former band member so at least it’s made by somebody that is familiar with the band and the music.

Somewhat agree compared to other bands. The opposite would be soilwork. Never listen to a full album but some songs are 10/10.

It’s so funny, I am the same way with DT. I don’t have specific songs, I just listen to their discography on shuffle. I love the overall sound, but don’t have specific songs. Now that I know the visuals were done by former band members, I will check it out again with a different perspective. Thank you as always my friend
