"Schiphol Airport is terrible." Glad to hear it from a non-Dutch guy. Because as a Dutch guy, I have to agree with that fact. That was like working in the casino industry, we could manage a 12 hour shift, followed by several hours of drinking, grab a quick couple of hours sleep. Look like warmed up crap, right up until you hit the table, and it was like a light was turned on and you got down to working, which when dealing, is a bit like a performance, but one where the audience takes part, and is quite often drunk. The worst part was the quick change overs, where you had an 8 hour gap between shifts, which seriously ate into the drinking time.

+Matt and Tom I disagree, Tom. That guy had a four hour opportunity to explore a bit of Berlin. For me that is worth it because it combines at least two things that I enjoy, (flying and exploring new places), with the bonus of saving money and no real need to pack or plan for it. A long time ago I flew from where I lived in Newcastle upon Tyne to Newquay via Dublin and Gatwick. In Dublin I had several hours to look around. One of those flights cost only 2p. The whole thing along with return flights came to under £10. Seeing as I enjoy flying (I love boats, planes, trains and automobiles...) it is not actually too much trouble.

Unless prescribed, yes (am Scottish, have been on it for insomnia reasons), though I believe that biomelatonin is legal? It's apparently faster-acting, probably significantly weaker. Melatonin is fine but it has a whole load of long-term possible side effects iirc. It's what your body naturally makes when it's sleeping time (not so much if you're autistic) but it's not like a tablet can mitigate dosage time that well, so it makes sense that it's not strictly over-the-counter legal.
