Absolutely should’ve went to college, just to see where his game is at against that level and take it from there. He didn’t even have to go to one of the blue bloods, he could’ve went to a smaller school, still had great competition and improve. Now, it’s make or break. He can still go back to school as a student of course but he blew his shot at playing. Bad advice all the way around.
@comment53982 жыл бұрын
It's different for guys like this because they've been playing against the top-caliber guys. Going to college would have only made his name bigger on a national front if he was really good. If he is really good it doesn't matter where he plays at now because there is so many more options to get into the League than back in the day. Kids born into wealth especially if they've been around guys in the league have experienced this already. He is going to the gym with his dad and Ben playing with guys who have been in the league or other top guys.

Athletically I’d say he’s close to his dad .. one thing about kids of these players .. they never had to fight in the neighborhoods .. they never had to want and see other kids get .. so the mental ability is no where near the fathers who came from nothing and battled poor life growing up .. and that’s part of the hunger to be successful they don’t have so athleticism can be there but if the mental strength isn’t there they will never be what they could

Not Everybody that makes it came from poverty. Fighting in the neighborhood isn’t what’s necessary. Drive, motivation, determination, grit and a little luck are essential. It takes a lot more than trainers and resources, some of the best hoopers come from poverty or slightly below middle class. It’s about hunger and drive, not just genetics and athletic ability. Look at a player like Pat Bev. People clown him cause he not a superstar and will never average 20 points per game and 10 assists but he has work ethic and played overseas to get to the league to the point he never wants to go back where he came from.
