After 6 years of contemplating about SMP and researching it, I finally had a consultation at the weekend and booked my treatment today. My 1st session is in two weeks from now. I started losing my hair when I was only twenty. It definitely affected my confidence throughout the years. I tried minoxidil and propecia for 3 months but could not deal with the side affects. All the herbal alternatives were a waste of time and money. Like you I looked into hair transplants but it wasn't for me.

It sounds like we had a similar experience around the same age. I also tried minoxidil in my early/mid twenties. And despite it showing some signs of progress, I suffered terrible rashes on my forehead. I hope you achieve the results you're looking for 😊

Thank you. I'd say 95% of people have never noticed. Only a hairdresser I was speaking to, and a woman who did a facial treatment for me and my wife leading up to our wedding, she was about 3 inches from my face under a bright light and asked. I don't hide it (hence the videos) so I'm always honest that I've had it done. There's no shame in it 😊

It does look like it disappeared with the overhead light. Up close you could see it though.

What happens if you get sick and are in bed for a week for whatever reason, flu or depressed, and you just don't wanna leave the house. Do u ever let it grow out around the sides? What happens to people if they're in hospital and can't get out of bed to shave? What about when youre old and don't want to keep tattooing your head anymore? And you've still got 20more years of life? Serious questions I'd like to hear your thoughts

If I'm ill and stuck in bed, I don't worry too much about keeping on top of it for a few days. If I was hospitalised, it would be the least of my worries and would only be the same situation for me as it would be without the SMP. As for when I'm old (if I'm lucky enough to get old), I can't say whether I will continue or if I will care, or if an alternative is invented. I never know how I'm going to feel next week so I try not to worry about my wants and needs in years to come, as they regularly change and become different to what I predicted.

I don’t think you need a top up.

It's a little more apparent when I get in bright sunshine, although it's hard to plan to shoot a video in that situation as the weather is very unreliable where I live 😅
