Love love love this sing. I was at the Koko gig - it was one of those magical genius nights that don't come along very often, can honestly say it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to, atmosphere was electric.

I have been watching this footage of Matt's gig at Koko by Sony release of their tablet for a week now and have been enjoying it. I'm glad that this is now in YT. It's good to hear it over and over again imagining a first dance for high school prom.

I'm afriad that it will never happen since Matt left Sony and I suspect that they would own this footage. But his new album comes out in Nov. Maybe he will launch the new album at Koko too and do a DVD this time.

He will be performing at The Isle of White Festival in June. He will be on the Garden Stage, with Christina Perri and Beth Hart. I am thinking this will be an acoustic set, either solo or maybe with just Ali.

what is wrong with people he needs to be playing world wide like in the states we call it promoting. he's to damn good to play in casinos. bad management we want him in the u.s.

+Marylin Harms He basically manages himself. So take all complaints to Matt. He had 5 tours, solo and with (t)his full band over the years. On the side he goes to venues like the Hippodrome to give fans one-off tastes of how his album is progressing. I certanly don't want him to be run around by some huge faceless management which only cares for the promo side of it - if they're having a friendly day, that is. He had that, he doesn't need it. If he's ready for going beyond the UK, I'm sure he will.

As my text implied: album number 4 is NOT out yet. Hence doing live previews to keep the fans happy. Hence the small convenient venues. Hence the Hippodrome selling out within less than 24 hours. Hence Matt adding a late night session after much begging to keep more fans more happy ;-) He will set out on yet another full solo tour in 2 months time. Maybe the album will be released in time with that, maybe it will not. To me it looks like he probably has another chance at a theatre role later this year. The tour announcement came a bit out of the blue with the album "in the post" but not being completely ready.
