I’m so embarrassed and ashamed for being THIS IGNORANT and THIS LATE to a man and band that are THIS AWESOME. I haven’t heard of this man and I rue years of missing out on his magnificence. I’m here now and I’m not going anywhere! He absolutely KILLED this. This is my favorite Alanis song and by far my favorite cover! That man opened his mouth and the first few notes attacked in that key stopped me in my tracks 😮. I’m sure my open mouth caught a collective of flies and other foreign flying annoyances. Unearthly voice indeed. Must come from a place where even angels don't exist. You know what; there are so many reasons for not taking part on programs like X-factor. All the contestants have got their own fans and they will never admit that the right artist has won. A lot of them will always run you down, the good you are. Persons like Simon Cowell run the show. They are looking for (young) people they need to make money. It doesn't matter how good you are. Most important is how you look like. Take 5 of those youngsters and all will be arranged (maybe settled is a better word). They lure you with a millioncontract, but when you're not the person they look for they drop you like a brick. End of their efforts, certainly when you're not that puppet on a string. Matt joined the party cos he needed a break and to see what he could do or not do. After each performance Simons face was full of admiration (eyes don't lie), but he didn't expect him to win. He had his own parade horses. Matt took the right decision to go his own DIRECTION. He earns more than a living, but is still the same humble and honest guy. And above all with the same strong, stunning and UNEARTHLY voice. Like Louis said. He has got it all.

But probably he wasnt ready to find out that this shy, humble and diffident guy is much more stronger and paradoxically self-confident as he seemed to be ;) I absolutly love the fact that he`s independend, that he knows he`s possibilities and limitations - he`s completed as an artist. And his voice...? Gosh, in every musical genre ther`re guys whos singin high but in each case you know that it`s a male voice. Here is quite diffrent. I like to think/say that his voice is 'out off gender' juxtaposing it with his tipical male look you get... something absolutly outstanding, something out of this place
