Those were the days in Jamaica...”Little G McNair”, Don Drummond, Baba Motta and Fred Wilmot on radio presenting great music...man! It was so good!!

I saw this touring group at the Dome, Brighton.

I was at an earlier concert in late 1959 when the MJQ and Joe Harriott and Ronnie Ross appeared as guest artists. Ronnie played Body and Soul; Joe played Autumn in New York. It was a memorable evening for I was a great admirer of Joe - who was invariably polite, and generous with his advice to young musicians.
