I just picked up the new 6" classic line and they appear to be the same exact figures as these (minus the figure stands and proton blasts.) While it's a bummer that these are lacking, the Egon DOES have his pants tucked into his boots which is a pretty fair trade-off to me ;-)

Got the Peter Venkman/ Egon Spengler set for customizing purposes. I am glad that my Egon action figure has the correct lower legs. I plan on turning them into Ghostbusters II versions.

Just a quick heads up for everyone, Mattel updated their Ghostbusters page and both 30th anniversary sets are for sale again. I am glad that I got both of these set for my collection. I do wish that Mattel had included more accessories like the PKE Meter for Egon, a Ghost Trap and Ecto Goggles for Ray and some Walkie Talkies.

In the ASK Matty section of the website they have already responded and said that only Peter should come with trousers un tucked in boots, so you have a defect version there which I would send back for a replacement, unless it was a free review piece.

I wish there were a few more unique parts between them. Have one or two not wearing gloves, have Egon with his gloves tucked in his belt like his older figure, give Ray his goggles.

I got mine and yes, my Egon's pants are tucked in his boots. Don't know what exactly happened to the one you reviewed. Must be a review sample thing. And as of this writing, they are still available for $50 on Matty.

I would have liked these much better without the gloved hands. If the hands were bare, and the packs removable, you could really get that relaxed feel of the Ghostbusters for options for posing, like hanging out around the firehouse, etc. Maybe I could swap some arms out... I don't know, makes me nervous.

These were released the same time as the videogame. The facial features mimic those of the video game, surprising that PixelDan and Optibotimus didn't pick up on that.

Why are Spengler's trousers loose...Venkman is the only one that does that out of the four? The original Spengler figure had his trousers tucked, as it should be. As a big GB fan this is a big error by Mattel.

RedKoolAid the new ones don't come with the proton streams, if you find them on sale it's worth it! Especially since Walmart has been putting them as $4 each, I purchased all 1984 and 2016 figures.

I just love how Mattel always seems to 'Call Wolf' and say 'SOLD OUT' when these figures came out....seems they are now back up for sale again in mass quantities again!!! They should really do the Ecto-1 with all the money make from He-man and Barbie cheap ass Batman figures they constantly make or make Voltron Villians...their a ridiculous toy company in my opinion!

I've always loved Ghostbusters, but the sculpting on these figures is truly disapponting. They look horrible. And they are cheaply done recycling the same molds for the four figures, while they should have different body types.

I didnt bother with this set, i've purchased so many variants of these guys in the past its just not funny. mattel hates their customer base thats why they waited till now at the tail end of the lines popularity to release what what we should have gotten from day one. Matty are sadists.
