Did you see the new information that came out on the Mattel website? This is the description of the Suchomimus pack from Chaos Theory, based on season 2. The designs are content-accurate, based on a dramatic scene from the animated series where children are attacked by the Suchomimus in West Africa. 👀 Everything indicates that season 2 will take place in West Africa, this is amazing, we will see Suchomimus and Majungasaurus "Major" in West Africa. 🤩

That really annoys me with the figure is the sliding button action feature and the Jurassic World Hybrid rip off spikes that pop out of the back. Also this theropod is around 36-40 feet long. So it was a pretty large theropod. This issue is also present in the Carchodontosaurus figure. These theropods need to be almost the size of the Trex and Giganotosaurus. I like the color scheme and the sculpting. It’s nice! But I do agree that the head is way too large.

I thought that only me feel Mattel's Mapusaurus look like resemble to V-Rex from Peter Jackson's King Kong film, but you feel the same about this figure, Andy, i so surprise 😂. Hmmm, i not feel Mapusaurus will appear in Jurassic World Chaos Theory season 2, so i don't want to pick up this figure. By the way, awesome video, Andy 🌷🤗.

I think it is since the Beckle is the size of Mattel’s Carnotauruses. The Mapusaurus is part of the $20 line, which are smaller than the Carnotauruses (which are usually $35)

Looks very strange but cool at the same time 😅 I feel like it would’ve been better off being called something else cause wow… I see no kind of features that would point to this being Mapusaurus. If somebody were to guess this based on its appearance they would never guess Mapusaurus. I know JP and JW isn’t about scientific accuracy but you can’t even tell at all what this one is… still looks cool though

Mattel is something of a hit & miss, first of all. Too many Rexys! What about other T-rex breeds? Second, focusing on the T-rex isn't the wisest choice in my opinion, why? Well it's because it's making big Theropods small, instead of like having the T-rex, we could have a big Theropod instead. That's just my opinion for that part. But you're looking at the actual toy critically, the proportions could had been a lot better, I'm not sure why they make odd choices. Wouldn't it make more sense to sculpt the figure, then start cutting it up, and giving it the action features instead of sculpting the parts each? And for the style, I don't mind it for me personally. However there are some odd choices, the rib cage thing is very overrated, and the rib cage is base on what I heard is anatomically wrong for any animal. So they sculpted the rib cage wrong without doing research of how rib cages work. Now for the odd bumps, this may be my opinion, the bumps are a bit like eh? They don't exactly make sense due to the size of them. Now, heading for the arms, yeah they look like they been crushed by T-rex. It does look like a good figure, and people will like it. I wish Mattel could like break out of their shell a bit, and perhaps study anatomy better? An old thing i notice is how similar it looks to the Rajasaurus, the style is becoming a bit overused. It'll be great if they choose new different styles.
