I love your remarks about how the bread and fishes never tasted better than at any time before and that they were made immortal. I believe this completely. At one time in my life, my husband and I needed food from the Bishop's store house. My husband was not a member of the Church but he noticed before I did that everything we received tasted better than anything we ever purchased from a grocery store. Everything of the Lord is the very best. We are expected to give full tithes, fast offerings and other offerings, to bake the best foods for our service to others, or minister to others with the best that we can give. Thanks for these wonderful lessons!

Thank you for sharing the gospel of our Savior. My discoveries from your teachings: 5 loaves+2 fishes =7= more than enough to feed everyone; 7 days of creation, Jesus organizing this earth from matter, with more than everything we need. Love, generosity, and miracles abound with Jesus Christ.

In the account of Jesus walking on the water, I think we commonly see Peter as not having enough faith to also stay walking. Yet he was the only other apostle who even attempted to do and successfully did so for a short time. I doubt any of us could do even that much. Peter was a man of immense faith.

Thank you , Both...for your preparation and your teaching abilities. They are unparalleled. There has been more truths unveiled, but it is up to you to decide whether you will see. If the world would stop and see the light that you currently have....it would bring about a mighty change. We can only hope that those who choose to let the Lord prevail in their lives, will hear and "see" these things. It is food for our spiritual bellies. Blessings from the God of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob be upon you .

To hear you say that you feel inadequate "because you know others that know more than you" is humbling because I feel you guys know so much. Many of the things you share I had never considered or thought of before. Yet, I was raised a member of the church. A quick example, not once did I consider the young lad bringing the 5 loaves and 2 fishes as me bringing all that I have to my calling and the Lord will magnify my efforts. What an awesome insight! You guys are like my lifeline in many of my impromptu sacrament talks--which I give a lot in my calling. I draw on your many thoughts and insights during FHE or when I teach the YM when we are in ward conference season. Just last week, I spoke at a leadership training meeting and shared an insight I gained from you guys. I appreciate all the time and effort you put into these videos every week because I gain so much from it 👍

Perfect! Awesome teachings! I love eading and studying John 6, In fact, when I started learning about the Restoration and the missionaries asked me to pray and ask Heavenly Father which church was true, I read the Book of Mormon and one Sunday when I went to the church of my childhood, before the Sunday service started, I asked Heavenly Father if the Church of Jesus Chris of LDS was the true Church or if the church I had been going was the true one. When the priest came in he read John 6:67-69,then the Holy Ghost made me feel without a doubt that it was the answer to the queston I had just asked the Father. What did I do then? I thanked Heavenly Father and left that church and asked the missionaries to teach me more and I was baptized. It happened 50 years ago. I testify that Jesus is our Savior and Redemeer and that this is His Church!.

I just love the thought of a mother (Relief Society Sister) preparing food to make sure that her son doesn’t starve. The food may have been poor, but the spirit of the mother and son were immeasurable to all who heard of their largesse in future tellings of the story, which still is repeated to this day. I doubt that little family ever realised the impact they had and still have on Christianity.

Jesus could have rescued his apostles before the 4th watch, but he was preparing them for when he wouldn't be there, don't you think? And Tyler, you would help people when you're exhausted. If the Spirit said do it, you would. There is so much consistency in the scriptures and in church history. Example: Joseph Smith teaching the 12 in the upper room of the store all they would need to know before his death. And Brigham Young being so tired he could barely move, yet those saints were waiting to be endowed before crossing the plains. So he did it, likely because the Spirit told him to. And I have wondered at the preparation of the young lad's mother. What an amazing, spiritual woman she must have been! Sometimes when I am preparing I feel impressed to do or pack just a bit more. Someday I'd like to meet that mother!

I too know that Jesus😅 is the Son of the Living God. I have wonder in times past where are thee God? Why don't you come to aid? I have come to respect God's timing. As a Proverb says trust in the Lord and lean not ways towards your understanding Because His ways are higher than your ways. I know I am paraphrasing. But this knowledge keeps me on the covenant path-- not perfectly. I just keep on keeping on. With Jesus help, I will be made perfect over time. Thank you both for all the time and energy you put into these lessons.

Three things I kind of struggle with: 1: with a rough Sea, in a boat that size, I don’t know how anyone wouldn’t be up and awake, virtually all night. 2: Knowing that, in a storm the surface of the water is chaotic with highs and lows - I struggle with how anyone could walk the rough/changing surfaces, and in the dark too. And 3: I am struggling to understand why the Lord waited so long, before coming- that is to say, what did they learn by the wait, that they hadn’t already learned by the 4th watch. Anyway, my thoughts struggle with this, but I’ll never quit striving to Lear’s/understand, and just chock it up to my lack of full understanding at this time, and I remember where it says in the Scriptures in several places, paraphrased “Be still and know that I am God”. You guys are doing a great job and it’s just me, struggling in my mind.

I get your point. I think that we have no understanding (thanks for that) as to how deep out fall has actually been since the prexistence. Take a painter; He takes different colours and place them, mix them and apply them with different tecniques. But in the whole proces he has a plan and he is in control. And all the colours "command" his hands. I think - on a much larger scale - that all the elements are under His control because He made them, shaped them and all elements love him for it. So they obey to their creator. That is why Christ is so calm and cool; He knows that NOTHING want's to hurt him. The earth will eventually be reshaped to crystal D&C 130:9) - because He can do it. I guees He can other things with the earth.. Mayby D&C 130 - 132 will shed some more light over your questions. And ask God - he is good at sharing these things. Sorry for my bad spelling I'm from Denmark. 🙂

Hi, I wanted to thank you for making these videos. My husband and I watch them every week and they have inspired us to study the scriptures more deeply. I wanted to ask you if you would be willing to make a video on understanding the Isaiah chapters in the Book of Mormon. We know a lot of people who struggle to understand these and what they mean for us today. I hate seeing people gloss over these and think of them as impossible and/or unimportant to understand. I don't know if it's possible or not but I was wondering if there could be a sub-stream for viewers to react from their local area. I would love to get discussions going from around the world! After meeting the man-made whole in the Temple he says unto him "Behold thou art made whole, sin no more". It is interesting to me that previously He made no mention to the man regarding the state of his soul, yet here he does that. There is a powerful symbol/ token (Baptism) I find in the story between Christ and this man. The place where this happened is testament to me of the observation too. Christ was more concerned with the spirit of the man too. The healing has may cloud the view of what richly & deeply occured there.

Tyler and Taylor, and everyone else reading this, when I was a twelve-year-old deacon my job on fast Sundays was to take the microphone to the little old ladies that couldn't make it up to the podium. I was a five loaves and two fishes deacon. I would listen to the testimonies of these older brothers and sisters and wonder how I was ever going to know all the things that they testified about. Forty-two years later I now know a lot of that stuff they were testifying about. I have much to learn and experience still. None of us are five loaves and two fishes lads anymore. Just sayin'.
