Yeah I was watching a behind the scenes friends, the one they were in Vegas. And the writers would huddle between takes to try and come up with funnier lines than what was on paper. And whenever they couldn't come up with anything they went to Matthew to see what would be a better line. And both times he instantly came up with the funniest line right there on the spot with no time wasted and blew them all away. He really was Chandler.

It’s great seeing Matthew and his Batman obsession. Chandler was, by far,my favorite in FRIENDS. But when he was suddenly so thin I worried about him. I knew about the accident, his injury and the prescription drugs. But that was all I knew. I loved him in his performances after FRIENDS. If you haven’t seen THE RON CLARK STORY you need to see it. He was wonderful on WEST WING. He was just gone too soon. His hour on LARRY KING LIVE just made me love him so much. When I saw his interview with Diane Sawyer I immediately bought his book. It rips your heart out. We find out so much we weren’t aware of. Or, I wasn’t, anyway. We’re lucky to still have him. I treasure this guy. Now I’m watching reruns of FRIENDS, which I never did once it ended. Thank you for just 8 minutes with this wonderful guy.

Rewatching this after learning that he's gone. We never truly know someone's struggle but Matthew decided to share his in his book. His pain was indescribable but I hope he can rest now. I'm speechless and so sad for his suffering when he brought so much laughter and light to other people. He reached true enlightenment as well as self-awareness and I'm glad of that. He came full circle but I'm also dismayed that his story ended like this. He truly made it his mission to understand his disease and the affliction he was so tortured by.

As a kid I had an obsession with friends and would binge it all the time my mum got sick of it cause to this day I know all the lines 😂 but I had no idea of his struggles until a few years ago. I got his book on audible and I couldn't put it down. As he narrates, you feel with him through the struggles, battles and ups and downs. But when he says he felt a failure I have to argue. He is NOT. He is a winner, a voctor instead of a victim and an inspiration for others. His honesty is so touching and heart warming. Despite all his struggles he has come through the other side. True it's daily, but, you only get one day at a time anyway! Thank you Matthew for sharing your story. You are still much loved not just for friends but for YOU.

I can relate to him on many levels, went through the pain. Everyone’s journeys is different but knowing one of my favorite actors was battling the same disease as a kid, meant the world to me. I knew I could fight it as well. His films helped me through some of the most dark periods, like The Whole Nine Yards. RIP Matthew, stand up guy.
