It might play mind games into the Panthers if they won in 4-5 games and then Oilers vs Stars went to 6-7 games on top of starting 1 day later... remember the Vegas final last year the Panthers had a 10 days break and totally looked like a shell of themselves

its odd, but since 2000something out of 21 game seven winners, the winner have won 16 of the first game of the next series. So it seems that they get a boost mentally and for the other team if you rest too much, it seems to be bad. I really thought before that if you rest it gives you better advantage.
