I could listen to hours more of Matthew. Definitely have him on again. This was great.

I love Matthew. I love his stories, his joy, and his intelligence, which is definitively worldly and ecumenical, I would call it (like a symphony). I just got his Shamanic Herbal, and I am taking his course of A-Z Herbals, and I am so enjoying all his classes. He is more than a classic. Thank you so much for sharing. Yes, his stories are epic! They help me remember herbs that I have not been familiar with!

Two of my favorite teachers together!! I remember when I finished Rosemary's class, in her final words to me she asked if I had ever heard of Matthew and that she thought I would love his teachings! I was already half way through his beautiful book The Book of Herbal Wisdom! Lol I love that he trusts his heart and intuition above his knowledge! The herbs truly speak to him!! Wado, thank you for sharing this sweet sister!!!❤

I so loved this conversation between to of my most favorite herbalists. Thank you Rosemary, for this site you have developed with such awesome herbalists, and thank you for this particular one as well. Tears were in my eyes and heart as to the truth of this conversation. Much love to you both!!

i am new to the herbal world, yet have gardened for over 4 decades. Excited to create an herbal garden with several large pots and 10 new raised beds this year. I have so appreciated all your videos, and look foreward to continuing the adventurous path I have begun. Many thanks! Blessings,

This was truly amazing to listen to! I have a question. Was it the elderberry leaves that Matthew used with the yarrow to make the poultice for swelling?

Thank you! I’m really wondering about the milk thistle seeds. Aren’t the seeds very hard? How was Mathew able to treat his friend Susan with mushroom poisoning with hard seeds? Was she able to chew them?

"All I had was a quarter ounce of Milk Thistle seeds. She tried her best to chew it" p. 451 in Matthew's Book of Herbal Wisdom. This is a phenomenal book, so well written and chock-full of in-depth knowledge. A life changer for me.

Does anyone have any advice these days and the future what careers won't lead to poverty or really close to if you want to work with plants? I hear often Botany doesn't pay and many herbal schools aren't considered accredited I don't have to be 100% medicinal but muds been looking muddy for now on what specific education to get I don't want to do serious physical labor for a job all the time...
