An oldie but goodie. Even as a packaging engineer, sometimes we just need to slow down, throw out precision, and let the kid in us just experiment and make something spontaneous to learn from! Thank you for the reminder Matt! I needed this.

Enjoying this! Just started dabbling on pop-up design. I made a simple pop-up wedding invitation and learning a lot from it. This helps!

What a fantastic tutorial to show what V-folds can do. I love the way you stuck on pieces of paper to those folds to show the arc movements. I'd really love to learn more about arms swinging around, from the top of the page to the bottom, or more exciting yet crucial to learn is how you moved the pyramid triangular top face structure to whip over to join the peak corner of the pyramid completing the structure. Thanks, Matthew. I saw your google talk, it was amazing. I really do look forward to your weekly videos. Learning a lot here, alright, onto your next tutorial ;)

Thank you! I like to do that to visualize how the pieces are going to move. I'm glad you watched the Google Talk! I plan to have more videos coming in the future, so stay tuned.

Hello Matthew, can you explain to me, how do you do the pop-up card "LET'S MAKE I+POP" intro at this video tutorial, THANKS!!!
@MatthewReinhart7 жыл бұрын
I like the way you think! It might be a future video but essentially its a pull tab mechanism similar to the Let's Make it Pop Nutcracker we did for the holidays. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4SykpKpf7NmetE
