Thank you so much for this! By far the best and simplest breakdown of a 3pdt switch I’ve seen.

As someone that's never built pedals before I would appreciate it if you would spend a couple more seconds looking at the original part before going to the diagram as well as explain what it does so us uneducated folk can follow along. Still a great video! You're in the same town as me and I thought it was funny when you went on the JHS channel that the only thing you could think of to describe the Tri is "near hanford"... we all know that feeling too well

Nice video. I have a question: Can I use the 3pdt (with retention) like a push button (without retention)?

I have a Psionic Lava Flow switcher that has these switches but are hard click and wanna replace with soft switches. The existing left switch has 7 soldered wires and the right has 4 soldered wires. So if I just follow this on new switches, would I be ok??? Help

Thank you for the video. How would I use this to add true bypass to a vintage Ross/Mxr Pedal?
@MatthewsEffects2 жыл бұрын
Take the input/output of the circuit and connect it to the 3pdt accordingly and then connect the jacks

Very interesting video. I'm building a stereo pedal, to put true bypass in it I have to use relay bypass?
@MatthewsEffects3 жыл бұрын
You could do that or you can use a 5pdt to true bypass both sides at the same time
