Ingredients and Measurements:
1 package vamazelli/vermicelli noodles (10 oz)
2 cans evaporated milk (3 cups)
1 cup whole milk
2 cups water
3/4 can condensed milk (depends on your level of sweetness)
8 cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
2 tbsp. ghee or butter
1/3 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1/3 cup raisins

Vermicelli cake looks very yummy. I've also learned something new from you about the cherries, I don't like the pink color that spreads all over the vermicelli so now I know what to do is to soak my cherries.

Yes. That is what I do. I use maraschino cherries. Publix brand

You can dry roast the vamazelli noodles a day before. Don't do it with the butter. Then the next day you can melt your butter, add the noodles and then add the rest of your ingredients.

Great recipe, Matthew! Have you ever tried adding a little custard powder inside? It gives it a nice flavour, I think you might like it. :)
