The iPhone xs and 11 most likely will end of at the same version, just like the 5s and 6 and 6s and 7, if they made iPhone 11 the mark than ya u can say that but since apple went from making xs the mark last year to 12 showcases the xs series and 11 series are in the similar position and the a12 and a13 is not difference from a7 vs a8 or a9 vs a10, the jump from a11 to a12 is massive which is why the iPhone xs might last this much much longer x but a12 vs a13 not soo different 😊

the iPhone 12 only goes up to 1200 nits when watching HDR content, but that’s NOT its normal peak brightness. it’s normal peak brightness is the same as the XS and 11 which is 625 nits

Get the iPhone 11 pro series if u want over all day battery it's better than the 12 series by a large margin but in terms of future proof the iPhone 12 might be the lowest phone I'd recommend since it's now became the mark of getting all the new feature it's just crazy to know the oldest iPhone supported was actually one of the best phone support last year to now the lowest supported iPhone and whats even more crazy is the lowest supported iPhone on ios 13 could still handle ios 17 considering the same specs iPad got iPad OS 16 which was a much larger update than ios 16 and knowing ios 17 is a very minor update anything that could handle ios 16 could handle ios 17 so what's crazy is that its been 4 year since the iPhone 6s was the lowest supported to not supported anymore and could still be the lowest supported iPhone so based of cability the iPhone xs is in the exact same place and could've still been 4ᵗʰ on the list to be dropped but unfortunately it's the lowest iPhone now being limited.
