I remember hating my Note20U coming from Note10+. The battery life on the N20U was awful, N10+ was better even though it had a smaller battery. S22U is okay in terms of battery life, not great but just ok. Another thing that annoyed me on the N20U is that ridiculous camera bump that made the my phone rocking on the table especially trying to use the S Pen. Given the comparable price, don't think twice and get the S22U. Much better phone.

I own both. In performance they are just about even. Of course if the s22u is also a 12gb Ram . . Battery life is about the same despite the s22u having a bigger battery. In sound, the Note wins. In camera,it's hard to decide. The note takes better close up pics. When zooming up, the s22u beats it. So.. in conclusion if you had to decide which one to buy in 2024, get the s22u. . The note is worth it as a secondary device, BUT only if you can get a good deal on a second-hand device (less than 350)

... as an audiophile with Note 20U for 4 years, the sound quality is a class above even the S24U. I upgraded to S24U thinking the sound will be better, I returned it within 2 weeks -couldn't bear the sound difference.

@Moh-Adeiza the note 20 ultra's cameras are not bad. In fact, they're really good. And the s22 ultra is slightly better. But it's safe to say that the cameras themselves don't take all the credit . Successful software updates have a lot to do. With ONE UI6.1 the s22u is living its best days ever!

I've been using the S10 5G for 3 years now with no hiccups what so ever (just the battery burns out fast when I'm on 4g/5g) I've been thinking of getting the Note 20 ultra as a daily driver for the next 2 years..is it worth it? (I don't game at all..only music, youtube and camera)

A major thing no one is talking about with the s22 ultra is that the design has not changed in 2 years. The s22 ultra looks like the s24 ultra to everyone. So it strokes your ego a lil bit as well as every other thing it has over the note

They both are great devices. if I could, I would spend a little extra to get the s22 ultra for the slight camera improvements, better battery life, and current software support. Yesterday I ordered my Note20 Ultra Snapdragon 512GB. Now I have the S24 Ultra (since release date) and there's no real world improvement except raw power. Some things are much worse (design, build quality and some software). Before that I had Note20 Ultra Exynos 256GB for 3 years so I think I'm pretty well equiped to determine which device is better overall.

I have the 20 ultra because I do a lot of gaming and wanted the extra storage. Got the 512gb model with up to 2tb expandable option. I intend on getting the 1 TB SD soon. What new phone is doing this in 2024? Storage solved on a great phone. $450 well spent I’d say. And I left apple after decades with them for this. Not mad at all.

The note was my favorite samsung series, it NEEDS to make a return. But anyway, the S22U is way better. The only cons of the S22U is the no expandable storage, and the battery is trash. Other than that, the S22U is wayyyy better.

@@rondas7772 magnetic secure transmission. Basically, it replicates swiping an actual card so tap to pay works on terminals that don't support. The S20 and Note 20 series were the last to have it. I still have an S20+ on deck just because of that. Even works at parking meters

i really like the samsung note 20 ultra for these reasons 1) it has SD card slot the last gen to have.. 2) the only phone that is 6.9 inch the rest is only 6.8 even the latest 24 ultra 3) of course cheaper to have than the note 22 to 24 ultra variant 4) still can keep up with modern requirements my guess if you take good care for it considering that note 9 still can rock today this phone can still hang with no issue until 2028 5) well of course its stylus features.. the only that will hold me back in owning note 20 ultra or any samsung units is because of its very fragile amoled display very prone to black spot and green lines... that is very expensive to repair.
