It makes me happy every time I hear a musician of any skill level playing Bach's music, especially one such as you Mr. Havinga. I can only hope this music finds its way into the hearts of others. It would be a shame to lose players who can showcase these masterpieces.

Ik ken maar weinig organisten die zo 'in' een orgel blijken te kunnen verkeren, zo soepel, zo toetstreffend en zo logisch naar de aard van het instrument muziek weten te maken, dan MH. Dat blijkt niet alleen uit deze audiovideo-opname (en andere opnamen van zijn verrichtingen op KZbin), maar zeker/nog meer in 'live'uitvoeringen van deze musicus-op-het-orgel. Wat meer, veel meer betekent dan louter organist-zijn trouwens. Is MH een soort Klaas Bolt 2.0? Ergens wel, al overtuigt en boeit hij als Matthias Havinga 1.0 reeds op sublieme wijze. Heren, en dames, hoed af. Dank u.
