It's harder to make friends the older we get, especially with other girls because let's face it....girls can be shady. My best friend cut me off completely one day a few years ago with no explanation. She didn't say a word, just went away. She's still friends with our mutual friends, but pushed me out. I'm not sure why and will probably never know. I'm glad you're meeting new friends. It can be nerve wracking, but it's fun too :)

I feel like the older you get, and the farther out of school you travel, the mor difficult it is to make any kind of friend. It takes so much more effort, but that doesn't mean that you can't still find people. Your opinions are always valid, Amanda, even when people don't agree with them. As long as you don't give up, I really feel like you'll be able to make those connections that you really want. You're so kind, it would be really hard to not want to be friends with you :)

Matthias!! My mother had arthritis and she art kale and collards (steamed) almost every day and it was practically cured. You can get fruit drinks with kale in them if u don't like the taste. :3

agreed! my mom also has arthritis [tho it is kept in check most of the time by her diet which consists of kale, celery, and garlic for inflammation] though there are alot of vitamins that help with joint/bone well-being seeing as how the cause of arthritis is because of fungus that sits on the bones and joints. the two major vitamins my mom takes for that are glucosamine and magnesium

If you don't really like the taste of kale, you could try making kale chips! Adding a bit of vegetable oil & salt will make it better-tasting, and it's not awfully unhealthy :)

I have the same issue with finding a really good friend. I lost two close girl friends about 5 years ago. One was a fight and the other one was stealing money and a handful of awful up stuff they were doing. I still haven't filled that void.

I feel ya Amanda, I had a friend that I knew when we were little, we grew up went to different schools, she hangs out with her high school friend. Every time she hangs out with that friend I feel invisible. You didn't but, I did. But when that friend isn't with her hanging out, and she's with me we laugh and talk like we were before. So, I have my friends that I went to high school and graduated from and goes I college with and a friend that graduated with me and goes to college with me, we have lot of things in common. :) so yeah. I feel ya Amanda. Friends these days.

That baby girl is so precious! Girl friends are not easy to find. I often feel like I'm the only one without a "best friend" to call anytime or be there for each other. I'm so happy to hear Amanda found good friends. ❤️ Also, everything you're feeling is so normal. E v e r y t h I n g! I felt like I would "get back to" things when the baby is this age or through with that stage. Just do it now and go at your own pace. Stopping to care for Luna will break your momentum, but your heart knows what matters most, and work will wait. I imagine vlogging is like journaling. Do it, and if you never edit it all, only edit some, or whatever, it's there. Do a weekly mom vlog, or once a month or whatever works for you. Moms need moms. Your honestly and transparency is refreshing and will be helpful to other new moms and all moms. You're both so genuine and sweet! You ARE doing enough, Amanda! You're raising a person...best job EVER! xo

I totally understand how you feel about not having a friend, Amanda. The only "friends" I have, or ever had, were always a friend of my sister or husband. It's rough finding someone you share interests with. Having a kid changes the whole dynamic. Once I had my daughter it was like...well I can't go out and do these things anymore because I have to take care of my kid. I'm finally starting to make friends with other moms though, and it's great being able to talk with them after talking to a kid for most of the day/week.

I think it's hard for a lot of girls to really make close friends. I've had a lot of issues finding "true" friends. I have one good female friend, and since her having a kid we haven't been able to spend as much time together. And now that I'm having a kid, I don't know if the gap will get smaller or wider. I'm excited to learn more about essential oils. I've been trying to learn more about them throughout pregnancy.

Going to the movies with infants is no biggie! Mine usually slept through, but it's easy to feed them because it's dark and no one is looking at you. It's actually a nice date when the babies are really young. When they get big enough to want to get down and play, it's not so easy though! lol

I know what the feeling stuck in the house baby blues are like. There is always a feeling of guilt that goes along with wanting "me" time but you have to realize its normal to have a baby you love more than any thing and still need a tiny bit of freedom. The answer is simple get a good reliable sitter for even one day a week for a few hours and do what ever you want. There were days my amazing mother in law had my baby girl and i just slept. It was all i needed just a few hours a week to have to yourself makes a much happier more relaxed momma. :) sending love you guys are awesome!

essential oils are amazing! just make sure if you're using doTERRA oils which truly are great, make sure you research more about them than just through doTERRA resources. oils are incredible and I love them and use them, but it's so important, especially with a baby and small children, to be very informed about there effects and uses and how to use them and all that. the doTERRA book is awesome and very informative, but seek other resources too. I often "over research" things but I like looking into every resource I can especially with something as powerful, shall we say, as oils! Enjoy your oils though and good luck! your baby is BEAUTIFUL!

I'm so glad I'm not alone in the whole no BFF thing. In my whole life I have been to 5 different school districts and people always accepted me right away but since we moved so much, I didn't have a steady group of friends until I got to my last school district and even then I never got close enough to them to actually go out with them to places. When Luna starts getting older and you want her on a sleep schedule don't make it super dark and quiet. It will set off her inner sleep clock thing. Don't go out of the way to make noise but leave the light on and don't be silent. If you keep it dark her schedule will be set to sleep at that time and treat it like night time.
