The Dassault Falcon 7X - A56-001 of the Royal Australian Air Force is seen taking-off at Bern in Switzerland. I was very enthusiastic to catch this rare and exotic visitor.
Manufactured by the renowned French aerospace company Dassault Aviation, the Falcon 7X made its first flight on May 5, 2005, and was subsequently introduced into service in 2007. This trijet aircraft quickly gained popularity among business travelers and private jet owners due to its exceptional performance, advanced technology, and unparalleled comfort.
To date, Dassault Aviation has manufactured over 270 units of the Falcon 7X, making it one of the most successful aircraft in the ultra-long-range business jet category. Its sleek design, cutting-edge avionics, and luxurious interior have attracted prominent individuals, corporations, and governments worldwide.
The Falcon 7X is powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines, each producing an impressive thrust of 6,402 pounds. These engines, known for their reliability and fuel efficiency, enable the aircraft to reach a maximum speed of Mach 0.90, equivalent to approximately 1,060 kilometers per hour. In addition to its impressive speed and range, the Falcon 7X boasts a maximum altitude of 51,000 feet, allowing it to soar above most commercial air traffic and adverse weather conditions. The cabin of the Falcon 7X is a masterpiece of luxury and comfort. WOW - three engines - a difference...

Do the math there's really no power to weight ratio difference between this jet and other business jets with only two engines. The difference lies in if you lose an engine you've only lost 1/3 of your power and if you're over water you have two engines running instead of one, so it's a safety thing not a it takes off faster than other jets thing, because it doesn't.

How close to the active runway are you and what zoom magnification are you having to use to catch this video? Even with a tripod to hold my camera, which is just my silly iPhone 8 Plus, and stabilization I shake too much to zoom in that close without it looking like a major earthquake was happening as the plane took off to escape the disaster 😂
