Add a modulator device of type "MIDI" to the instrument / effect you want to modulate. It's set to CC 1 by default, attach it to whatever parameter you want and off you go. ;) Givet it a try!

Hey, only the free discovery version. Its solid. Lovely sound! Labs is a nice toolbox! Great sounds too! So much to choose from.

These presets are ensamble patches but you can play quite low. Obviously the Metropolis Ark 1 (or the just released Metropolis Ark 5) will give you a more deep and realistic sounding Double Bass. Oh yes indeed, some good winds and brass would be a nice addition to the Bitwig sound content! ;)

Hi, the focus blur effect was done with the special effects within Davinci Resolve Studio. I don't know if it's available in the free versino of Davinci Resolve. But anyways it mimics a real focus blur effect and you can control how much "blur" you want to apply, and all I did was to set it at a high percentage and then automate the effect towards 0%. ;) Looks like a real focus blur. And since I'm shooting my videos myself it's a good little trick to make the shots more alive. Hope the info helps! Thanks!

Hi John. Im just using the Wacom tabled and pen instead of a mouse. Its more ergonomic and convenient. I can use the pen as the mouse cursor and also the tablet as multitouch with gestures like a mac laptop touchpad so I can pinch to zoom and move across the arrangement easily etc. Highly recommended. 🎉🥁

Hi, how can i experiment in a loop region and keep lets say the whole last take even if i exceed and overwrite the first few seconds of it? In ableton i press ctrl+z and the cursur go back to the beginning of the loop, it erases the overwritten part but keeps the last take automatically and ctrl+z one more time and the whole take is deleted. Maybe you can help me? I know punch in and out can do it, but i want to stay in the loop amd expermint until i have the last take.. thanks in advance :)

It depends on if you need comping and feel the need for the new features? Decide if the treats are usable for your work. I personally like the ned additions and M1 compatibility which was crucial for me.

Hi Nath, Out of all keyboards the Nektar series have had the best integration m. But you could grab a Novation Launchkey / Arturia Keystep and use the Jurgen Mobgraber scripts and get great Bitwig control. Check his videos on the integration to Bitwig.

These are great for adding a touch of orchestral or doing sound design. Shame there are no legato presets. Bitwig's sampler is too basic for that.

The first patch comes closest to legato with its setup, but real legato scripting would have been awesome. But its a free library so I bet it will be useful for many producers… we who want more control use more feature filled libraries like Orchestral tools Ark, Spitfire, 8DIo, Eastwest etc🍿☕️🥳🥁

I had a lot of difficulty (in Canada) downloading the 4.1.2 update itself. Numerous failures. And then updating packages and the strings took a long time as well.
