I made the mono bag the thing I would do different is cut the the 4 panels main fabric, lining and fusible fleece the directions give you measurements for the lining separate. I agree a little difficult to read. My quilt shop offered a class I was not sure if you could complete so I did the bag at home. Video is great. I’m waiting for midi pattern to co e in mail 😊

The instructions with the pattern were a bit confusing. This video helped me quite a lot. Thanks! Now that I have made a couple, the instructions make more sense.

Great video but you didn't demo how to make the lining. I'm assuming you measure the 4 panels after they have been stitched and sew them together the same way you assembled the L's together but I have already stitched the outer bag together and no longer have the proper measurements. Any tips? Thank You. P.S. This was so fun and easy to make. Can't wait to make more!!

Each lining panel is the same width/length as the outside panels, plus the outside seem width. Do not forget to add pockets if you want them. Sew together just as you did on outer panels. Have fun!

I was very interested in making this but after reading the comments, not sure I can do it without a complete " How to " also as one woman said, can it be made in larger squares and do you need to always use fuseable...

Can this be done using 5 inch squares instead of 2.5 inch?

It is hard to hear you. My question is ....can you use the pattern only one time? If it is on fusible.?

I need measurements for the lining please?
@Quiltsmart5 жыл бұрын
Measure the lining from one completed panel - after you’ve sewn up all the squares onto the interfacing and pressed. That is the size the lining will be. PS - sorry for the delay in answering.

Please show me how to sew the lining. The instructions on the pattern are confusing. Thank you for your help.

Anne E It may help to watch the Mondo Bag video. You cut out the lining the same size as the interfacing panels you used to fuse your fabric to. They sew up exactly the same as the layout for the fabric panels. Hope this helps, but I think the Mondo Bag video will help you too...

I was so excited when I found your video today! But alas, people asked for sound adjustment 3 yrs ago according to posts & I still can barely hear u! So disappointed now! :( I would LOVE the video if I could only hear u. Thank u for trying.

We wonder if it’s your settings, because we actually have to turn the volume down.

@@Quiltsmart After turning the volume up as high as it would go (100) I finally called our internet provider who assured me the settings on my computer were as high as they could go & that the problem w/sound was w/the video itself. I'm trying to watch using closed captioning but that's a little distracting fr the actual instructions. Oh well! I'll continue to try. Thank u for replying tho.

Doreen Tavares I don’t understand, because when we play it on our iPads and phones, the volume is great. You’ve got us over a barrel here... Sorry.
