I ordered the pattern...while I wait I thought I would cut my squares. You say I need 108 - 2 inch squares. Others say I need 2 1/2 inch squares. Could you check?

Why do my lining always end up a lot bigger and have to cut it all over. Should it be cut the size of the outer bag after the rolls are joined?

Great instructional video until 12:01. She has the project in her lap and you can't see the second "L" seam, or the third seam? It appears as if she sews two seams after the first and that makes the box? I appreciate this video as the written directions are not that clear. It gives a great basis to start and get through the project. This is a much better instructional video than Quiltsmart has.

When sewing the seams for the squares on the interfacing, no.

when sewing the lining, using the same method as putting the bag together, I'm unsure where to line the lining pieces up. I had to markings on the fusible pattern to line up the bag. Can you advise?

The lining is made exactly the same way. Sounds like your markings helped. Sorry it took so long to reply.

What is a charm pack?

A Charm Pack is a precut fabric package from Moda Fabrics. It contains 42 5 inch squares of fabrics from a collection. There are also mini charm packs that contain 42 2.5 inch squares!

My lining is huge! Don't cut it the same as the panel. I guess I have to make a new lining 😢

The instructions for the size to cut the lining is "buried" in the instructions, step 5. Construction of the lining is a whole different story.

The instructions leave ALOT to be desired. That is why I searched for video instructions. VERY hard to construct, especially the lining. For there are NO marks, no dots, no diagonal lines to show you how to construct the lining, and of course, this video did not explain the lining at all, just said to follow the instructions, which are pretty much crap. I don't think I'm alone based on comments from other sewers.

The printed interfacing grid is included in the pattern. Enough to make 2 bags. I paid 24.99
