A "rough idea" is 2% drop rate no matter how many you have, no matter how many you want, no matter how many you haven't collected. 2% drop rate. If you've done 5000 runs and haven't gotten an uber unique... that's because it's a 2% drop rate. If you did two runs and got one that's because it's a 2% drop rate. How many runs you do doesn't alter the fact that every single run is a 2% drop rate.

This is very helpful, thank you! In the next update, you could make it even simpler by just making a checkable box next to each of the Uber uniques, then you could calculate odds based on that instead of manually inputting 3 numbers. That would make it much harder for users to make mistakes.

He's not calculating odds. He's calculating probability based on unsubstantiated factors. The only thing that's true about the runs is that it's a 2% drop rate for all uber uniques. Period. On your 1st run it's a 2% drop chance which is the same as your 4584983984th run.

The video is buying into a few fallacies and he's calculating probability based on unknowable factors. The only thing that's true here is the drop rate. 2%.

So I ran a ton of Duriels earlier in the day and nothing. saw this video and said what the heck why not try. so I transmog'd my old Shako and 36 runs later I was wearing a real Shako on my barb!!! thanks for this tip!!! maybe its a coincidence...but wow!

So junk ubers on eternal realm, then you could get them on seasonal? My first ubers this season is shako and GF...all I want are dups of them.. so I probably don't need to do this then?

I know your very busy , but do you know why when I do a duriel run I will get a double unique drop but they are not Uber, this happen to me like 6 times in over 400 runs and I still have not gotten a uber unique but other people in my party have gotten them

No, it's a 2% drop rate. You can do 5000 runs and not get a single drop... or you can get them back to back. It doesn't matter. It's still a 2% drop rate regardless of how many times you've run it.

Iight so, I tried the transmog thing for shako and doom bringer, pulled shako in 7 runs after that, doom bringer 38 runs after shako.... I unno about science but this may be a thing. I was also transformed grandfather but I already had one and I have not got another. I also didn't get any other ubers during that session, 200 runs total

I don't believe items on characters on account are factored based on what I've observed. its a 2% chance per run which should be 1 in 50 but its a 2% chance per run so it can be 1 run or 500.

It's not. It's just a 2% run rate. I got my Grandfather, starless skies and Shako within 30 runs of each other after about a 100 run dry spell.

I farmed 50 runs on a 100 character for 1 unique and then farmed 3 runs on a lvl 15 barb and got 1

RNG is RNG. Some are very lucky at having bad chance. You could do 1000 Duriel runs and still not get a single one.

Keep trying. Was same for me last season but once I got my first Uber all the rest of them dropped 75-100 runs apart

I dont think you can get a transmog from uniques. Thats what makes them 'unique'. Atleast i salvaged all my unqiues and some u ers from previous seasons annnd not one was a transmog.

Yes, you can get the tmog for uber uniques. They are just like anything else. When you sacrifice it to do the uber crafting you'll get the TMOG skin.

i feel that the rate could be hiddnely nerfed from 2% to 1% even, yea on average too more than 50 runs for me too for any uber, but greats on shako! i had friend with 3 rings in 500 runs, and 2 amulets, i think he would trade all for shako

5k runs? i doubt that you have done that many and not found one uber. you would need so many mats to summon him 5k times i just dont believe it. 500 times maybe believable but not 5k
