I just got the synth of my teenage dreams, the Prophet 5 or in this case 10!
Here I share my thoughts and play the first few sounds I have programmed.

ghost mall same boat man. I just bought the p10 desktop and an OB6 keyboard version. I haven’t a clue how to actually play them. I can make music, but I don’t actually know how to play for the level of money I am spending on these. Yet, I still do it, chasing that sound or just knowing I have some of the best synths in existence so if I am ever gonna figure out how to play. I’ll have the best sounds! Lol

Sounds splendid ! Whatever jewel you present, there needs to be some complementary Montage with it. It clearly shows how versatile the Montage is, in combination with a proper analogue synth. Like shown in your video with the Andromeda. All your demos sound so great!

Yes, that was funny! Although I did immediately wonder if the P600 pan mod kit idea could be applied to the modern Prophet 5/10 to get that stereo spread of the oscillators. I have it for my Prophet 600 and it's worth its weight in gold.

This is the best review and demo of the Prophet 5/10 that I’ve seen. The added chorus was grand and the 10 voices sound great! Seems like one would certainly want an arrangement of analog effects through which to run this. This may be more of a player’s device than a programmers but still perfect for anyone who wants to paint the with sound.

They've done a few decent emulations of these types of synths, like Messiah from MemoryMoon. I like it but the envelopes are snappy enough to play with a wind controller. I go more for the ARP, Korg, and Oberheim type sounds...there's a nice creaminess to those filters. I got my DW8000 because they have a similar vibe where they can sound dark and creamy.
