The wireless charging adapter for the Quadlock is awesome and I highly recommend. Phone is always charged when riding and and there is no extra cords that are flying in the wind. The cord from the Quadlock blends in nicely with all of the factory wiring and is more aesthetically pleasing.

What a great set up. Love the performance bagger that this bike is, but it is still a touring bike. Looks to me like you found a great way to blend some touring comforts without compromising the aggressive looks and styling of the CVO ST. Black was definitely the right choice, it's just a good sinister look. I think you're pretty darn close to the ultimate touring/performance bagger, nothing geezer about it. Really nice work sir.

Really glad, with all the family responsibilities, that you finally had the opportunity to upgrade your Harley-Davidson. I really wanted the CVO ST but felt there was too many things. I had to change to make it mine. I ended up buying a CVO in copperhead. I have also added the color matched tour pack. I am only 6‘2“ tall and I got the extended reach Saddleman seat also. I feel it puts me in a perfect spot on the bike. I do think the extended reach seat limits the passenger seat. If I was carrying a passenger frequently, I would probably also get a standard reach seat for the few times I rode with the passenger. I like what you’ve done to your bike.

@steverossi55853 ай бұрын
Nice ride Matt! Love how it looks and how nicely you have a CVO setup for touring! Best of both worlds! One recommendation I'll make, is to use a seat cover with that beautiful Saddleman seat when it rains! I have the RoadSofa, (with green stitch to match my Kinetic Green Electra Glide), but I opted for the "carbon fiber" leather with the stitching, instead of the perforated leather. But still when it rains the water seeps through the stitching and soaks the foam underneath. It takes a long time to dry that out, so my butt is wet for a few days. Now I use the seat cover every time there is a chance of rain when I'm on the road! Looking forward to your road trip videos on the Performance Geezer!

That is a fantastic looking setup! If it is comfortable for you and does what you want it to, that’s the big thing. A lot of people neglect comfort on their bike I think because they feel they have to keep up with their buddy that’s got that 120hp build or whatever. I’m a 5’4 guy on a road king special so I got the LePera TailWhip step up and the difference is incredible. I always tell people when they ask me, make your bike comfortable and able to do what you need it to do before doing performance stuff. You can kill yourself plenty easy on a stock Harley!

Congrats on your build; I made the same upgrades to mine. Went with the progressive relocation kit due to Harley not having a solution at the time. Again good job and be safe .

I get It's all personal preference but go check out his other video to hear what this build/exhaust sound like. . I even put time stamps in his other video so you can jump right to the two times he takes bike out and shows that amazing torque & tone. And congrats to you for owning a CVO Street Glide. Matt, you nailed it for me with them upgrades! I’m so pleased for you & totally envious. I would do exactly the same if I had one. For me it was the Saddlemen seat. So pleased they actually do one that gives you the extra legroom. Then the footboards, nice. All other upgrades were well thought out too. So go on. What’s this gonna cost to replicate what you’ve done? Also I’m hoping for a long demo ride video and overall verdict. This is the bike I wish to own! I also agree that the mirrors have gotta go. I went with the black custom profile mirrors on my CVO and they look good. However they do move inwards at speeds over 80 mph. Can’t wait until the next vid! Bring it on Matt! 🏍️🔥👊😊👍

There hardware is also unbelievably well made and chrome or powder coat is perfect. For me Matt, the HogWorkz is super affordable. Not cheap at all but way cheaper than HD. got to love a riding community where the you have to lock your bags to your bike because your fellow Harley rider will steal them. Matt, perhaps if you could find someone that has access to a machine shop, I wonder if you you could have them make a bracket so you could use the smaller floorboards that came on your CVO for passenger floorboards? They might be too large, but it’s a thought. You’d think H-D would make a matching set for the rear, maybe they will in the future. I know my wife hates pegs, so I put the matching floorboards on my ‘21 RGS. I appreciate your channel and look forward to seeing new videos. Be glad you don't live in Australia, we can't get enough of these, the few we do get are sold before leaving the USA and the dealerships have no clue when more are coming which makes pre ordering a headfπ€k (plenty of VVT's and 117's) so may end up building a 117 to 131 with Ohlin's... It's a bugger coz this is the first ever Harley that I'd be happy to leave as it came and at 70 years old will likely be my last new bike, would definitely be a long term keeper: not cheap over here at $63,000 AUD... I've never considered or been able to afford a bike more than half this price but now that I can I can't effing get one.
